Bridgestone Americas Partners with Backcountry Discovery Routes

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (July 17, 2020)

Earlier this year, Bridgestone Americas partnered with Backcountry Discovery Routes (BDR), non-profit organization that develops adventure motorcycle routes across the United States to provide riders fun, challenging, and safe routes to ride. Bridgestone sponsored the North East BDR route, a new route that spans more than 1,300 miles across six Northeastern states, through the funding of the route filming and the provision of Bridgestone Battlax Adventurecross AX41 tires for riders.

The Bridgestone Battlax Adventurecross AX41 tire was released in January 2019 and was a perfect fit for the varied conditions riders faced on the North East BDR route. Engineered specifically for adventure riding, the performance of the AX41 was perfect on a route that covered long distances on both pavement and challenging off-road terrain.

Once filming of the new route was complete, sponsors were encouraged to share the film with their customers. Bridgestone partnered with a Brooklyn motorcycle apparel and gear store, Union Garage NYC, to host one of nearly 100 viewing experiences across the United States. More than 100 enthusiasts attended the event and Bridgestone representatives took the opportunity to share more about our company and its motorcycle tire offering.
